When building a platform like Duckling, there is no way around lengthy legal docs. However, we actually want you to understand what it implies to use Duckling – what you get and give away. Duckling is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. If you are a minor (generally under 18), you need permission from your parents (or other guardians), who should read and agree to our terms and conditions.
You retain ownership of your content and other contributions. Still, by publishing them on Duckling, you grant us the right to display them publicly and use them to promote Duckling on social media and other platforms.
You also grant us the right to monetize your content by publishing contributions. We will ask for your permission and share the profits with you (this is not a legal obligation but an ethical one).
You are responsible for your contributions to Duckling. You must ensure that you have the legal rights to the content you publish, and your content must not be abusive, offensive, or misleading. We can remove your content and terminate your membership if you do not comply with this.
We own our logo, visual identity, source code, and all other intellectual property. You cannot use these without contacting us first at contact@duckling.co. In the future, we plan to share important parts of Duckling's technology as open source.

When you become a Duckling member, we collect your name, phone number, username, school, and age. We might also collect payment information.
We do not collect any sensitive personal information (social security, biometric data, etc).
We do not share any personal information with third parties, including selling any of your personal information for advertising purposes.
We might ask you to participate in sponsored story challenges, where you can provide your viewpoint on products or brands. However, we will always do it with your consent and complete transparency.
With your permission, we may also collect geolocation, device data, and technical data from your device to help us identify and fix bugs, among other things.
With your permission, we may send you notifications via push or text.
We take every possible measure to keep your data safe. We have implemented high-security standards and have a dedicated tech team that continually improves our security measures. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers will not be able to breach our systems.
If you delete your account, we will immediately delete all your data.
We comply with GDPR and other data policies worldwide to protect your rights.

This document adds to the Terms & Conditions and provides the legal rules for using Duckling. To better understand Duckling members' values and ethics, please read our Community Guidelines.
-You cannot collect or use data, including content and user information.
-You must not bypass or manipulate security measures.
-It is illegal to deceive users into providing passwords or engaging in actions that could harm them.
-Impersonating others is strictly prohibited.
-Tampering with other people's content or data in ways not explicitly supported by the app is prohibited.
-Publishing anything that infringes copyright, is hateful, misleading, or offensive is prohibited.
